You want to succeed as a blogger but….you have questions.
How do you do this?
I’ll let you in on a secret. And it doesn’t involve any particular method or deception or anything shady. In this context I am talking about succeeding as an affiliate blogger or bloggers who sell their own products.
There are a couple traits that successful bloggers have and I’ll list them below.
1 Bloggers who find success have a lot of vision as well as patience.
2 They can see the big picture and don’t expect riches overnight.
3 A successful blogger knows how to network and understands the importance of helping others.
4 They learn how to write content that converts that is interesting and useful to the reader.
5 They find what works for them and keep working until they find success.
Is That All It Takes To Be A Blogging Success?
Before I say yes or no to the above question, I think I should clarify something. And this may or may not be what you want to hear but here goes anyway.
If you remember your first job and thought you were working and working and never getting anywhere then you saw a dead end opportunity.
The same applies with blogging. You can write and write and not see progress for quite a while. But, why is that? It’s because you have no experience.
With time comes experience and lessons learned will help you to not make the same mistakes again. Blogging is all about trial and error, learning from others and applying.
Once you figure out what works for you and your readers you can build a following which can eventually turn that blog you write into a success.
Is It Easy To Be A Blogger?
It depends. If you are constantly distracted or don’t see the long term purpose of your blog you will more than likely quit.
But, if you stick it out for months and years you will see your blog grow in popularity and traffic will come. Then you can promote what you think is of value to your readers.
Make sense? Cool, because that is really all it takes to make your blog take off and become a winner.
Years ago I joined the Marine Corps at 17 years old. This was back in the 80’s and the last thing I wanted to do was work. I wanted to surf all day at the beach and basically be a beach bum.
But, a family death caused me to have to make a decision so I joined the service.
At first I hated the Marine Corps. I hated the work. I hated the higher ups I worked for. I couldn’t stand being away from my hometown.
I adapted, changed my outlook and went on to receive my honorable discharge. And I actually enjoyed my last couple years in the service and life was much easier.
The same is with blogging for an income. You have to put the work in. You have to fail as it’s part of the learning process and you have to keep pushing forward until you get it.
My Advice To Newbie Affiliate Bloggers
If you’re looking to promote products, I highly suggest you build your website up before slamming up a bunch of products on your pages and posts.
I recommend blogging for at least a few months to a year before doing so. I know it sounds like a long drawn out time but think about this. You ended up on this page not by accident but because you want to be a blogger.
And my thinking is you also want to be successful. If you want all that blogging has to offer, then read the traits of bloggers who make it again in the content above. Because that’s really all it takes to make it is this business.
