2019 Volusion Review
If you have checked out some of the site builders for e-commerce website’s, you may have run into a program called Volusion. ‘
What is this platform and how does it stack up to others in the same playing field? I checked out this platform recently and pretty much got the picture of what it was about rather quickly.
Here is my 2019 Volusion Review.
Volusion is a way for you, the entrepreneur to build a website that is designed for e-commerce. In a nutshell, it’s one of those DIY or have someone do it for you platforms and yes, you do have to pay to play depending on what services you are in need of.
But, this is a platform that basically has everything you need under one roof to get started. You don’t really need to go anywhere else but Volusion to get everything moving in the right direction and your website can be up and running in no time flat. Below is just a screenshot of a basic product page and pricing. Pretty simple and straightforward right?
The basic product page looks ok, but I know you can change to your own theme to fit whatever niche you are in. I assume they are using WordPress or Blogger so these are platforms that are easy to change stuff up on them. Your product page can look much better than the above if you do some simple changes so, with that, I would say it looks good. Good layout and the pricing is set up at eye level.
What Does Volusion Charge For Each Service?
Here is where things got a bit confusing for me as I was checking Volusion out. There are a ton of different services that the platform offers which is great. The bare bones basic package for three monthly payments at a time is $26.00 a month and that includes unlimited products, storage, and a secure checkout setup.
From there you can upgrade to higher prices with more storage and add on features. And then you can also order independent options like SEO services for an additional price. You can also add Facebook pixel setup for another $50.00. Graphics creation will run you an additional $100.00 and they will even set up your Google Analytics for another $25.00.
Basically, if you are willing to pay, Volusion will get your site fully optimized, indexed and ready to get traffic.
You really don’t need to do much.
Who would Volusion be good for? Obviously, entrepreneurs who are looking to have a website that’s professionally done and doesn’t want to do the manual work. I get it though.
Many entrepreneurs would rather someone else do the work while they steer the boat. I write articles for a budding entrepreneur and he does the same thing.
So, if you have the money, by all means, let Volusion take care of the tough stuff. If not I would probably recommend a platform like the one I use HERE where you can do the groundwork yourself.
Is Volusion Worth Taking A Look At?
I don’t see why not plus they have a 14-day free trial that you can check out which makes this a winner in my book. Sure, they have some add ons that will cost you some money but the pricing for the basic package is pretty cheap. I only wished they had a training program which is what you need if you are going the affiliate marketing route which is what this looks like.
Affiliate marketing is pretty hot right now and Volusion is a good platform to use to get into the industry. Like I said there is a lot that goes into selling online and if you just throw a basic website out there hoping for the best, you will more than likely fail.
Well, I hope this short Volusion review was helpful. I could have written a book on the platform but to not bore you I just covered the basics. It looks like a good platform, full of good services but it will cost some change to get the thing altogether. Not too expensive though and I like that.
So many of these platforms try and charge thousands of dollars to build you a website and that’s just wrong.
Anyway, hope this helps and have a good day.
