  1. Great article, I suffer from a number of health problem, and while I am not disabled yet, I will be in the next few years. I have been looking for other ways to make money online and thought affiliate marketing might be a good opportunity. I’m definitely going to look into this further so I am not scrambling when the time comes.
    Thanks for the info

    1. That’s great David. I have the same name btw! Becoming disabled doesn’t mean life is over. We just have to adjust and move on as best we can. I found the platform to be easy to understand and learn on and have made money at it. It’s not overnight success but for disabled people I think it’s a decent option for them to start their own business. I wish you the best and thanks for the comment David!

  2. Great article. I have a lot of different medical conditions and have had to work from home. I started with Wealthy Affiliates and I absolutely love it. I am grateful for a way to earn an income from home that is easy enough for me to get around with my disabilities and that provides me with a community that is there anytime I need them. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thanks Melissa. Yea, stuff happens and working from home for some of us is a much better option. I used to think I could just muscle through life in the Marines and as an electrician but what about after that? That’s when I decided working from home was easier on the mind and body and the Wealthy Affiliate taught me and continues to teach me ways to improve my website. It’s a win win especially for disabled people looking for at home income. Thanks again and I wish you all the best!

  3. Wealthy Affiliate is an excellent idea for those looking to become more independent and add extra income. It’s really not hard at all. It does take time and persistence but anything can be achieved when you set goals and take action.

For those of us that have been taken advantage of by internet scammers rest assure that you can test drive WA for FREE and get a taste for what their platform is all about. You get access to level 1 certification and that is all you’ll need to be convinced that you are in the right place.

When you become a free member you get full access to the community meaning that you can ask whatever questions you are going to have and get real help almost instantly.

Now, in order to get levels 2-5 certification you will need to go premium but once completing the first level you are going to be excited to see what else is available.

I have personally been taken advantage of by internet scammers promising the moon and i foolishly believed them. Safe yourself the anguish and dip you feet in the water at Wealthy Affiliate. You really do have nothing to lose because its FREE to join.

If you are looking to make money online finally WA is the way to go.

  4. Great suggestions here, David. I’m glad you mentioned Wealthy Affiliate, because they are hands down the best online marketing platform to learn from. You make it sound so easy and that’s because it really is. I’m glad you’re bringing some light to this highly important topic. Thank you!

  5. Very honest and thorough advice David! A disabled or elderly person could truly benefit with extra income and not ever have to leave their home to work at a traditional job. I personally think in the next ten years, affiliate marketing as a primary or secondary income will be more mainstream as more people are educated about it.

  6. Thanks for the helpful information. My brother-in-law was in an accident a couple of years ago. He is so smart and it has been so hard on him to not be able to provide for his family. This is a great idea that he would be very successful at.

  7. I’ve just broken my foot in several places and my job requires a lot of moving around, so I’m out of work for a couple of months. I’m on worker’s compensation, but I wanted to take the opportunity to make some cash on the side.

One question though, once I return to work, can this business model be run in spare time, or does it require full time commitment?

  8. I believe you have opened a door to demographic who probably never heard of such an opportunity. Well done. And the platform you have chosen for them to work from is a positive trusting and proven source. I know because I am a member.

    1. I think disabled people can definitely benefit. Especially those who can’t do manual type of work and want to stay at home. Its easy to start and learn and can be done at your own pace. There’s no rush which is what I like. Thanks for the comment!
