How To Create Website Business Models
Ask anyone who is earning online and they will tell you finding a way to make an income can be tough unless you create website business models that gain traffic. And that’s what you may find the hardest part of your blogging journey. Finding a way to turn that awesome website into an ATM machine!
It can be done and you can do it if you follow some simple rules.
My journey in blogging is probably not unlike yours if you’re just starting out. When I started I knew little about generating a profit but I did know how to write some solid content. And I learned from the pros on how to do it more effectively which eventually equated to some awesome traffic and sales.
But you have to learn to give your blog time to gain popularity and that could be the toughest hurdle. When building any type of website business models you have to look at the long term and not look to earn overnight. If you can do this and blog consistently any website model can make a killing in sales.
How Do You Create A Winning Website?
Creating that winning website is on ongoing process that takes time and some effort. The key is to build a site with an easy to navigate theme, content that helps readers and is consistent. At first I would suggest to NOT monetize your website and focus on creating quality content that attracts readers. Pick a niche that is popular but not over saturated. Get comments to your posts and look to get your name out to your audience. Guest blog whenever possible. And stay motivated while you build out your website. As far as monetizing your website, it’s up to you add links at first but I waited until I had 10 blog posts written.
I don’t condone plagiarism so if you have no time to write content by all means outsource it but shop around for writers. Typically if I outsource an article I will pay anywhere from $15.00 to $25.00 per 1000 words. Personally I rarely hire writers but if you need to this would be a good base pay to look at.
Another way to create a winning website is to get feedback on your website. Is the navigation easy to read? Is the content interesting and of good length? Is there a call to action? Is your site appealing? These are just a few of the things I look for when checking out other people’s blog sites. It’s one thing to gain clicks to your site but another to keep people sticking around so use Google Analytics to see how your site is performing and what pages and posts are most read. Go back to those posts and pages and edit them when needed.
The most important thing to do when building your website is to stay motivated and keep writing even when you don’t want to.
Keep It Simple Everyday
This is where a lot of bloggers get confused but you don’t have to be one of them. You can build a website that’s a winner if you just keep it simple and don’t overwhelm yourself. Use this website as an example of an easy to understand website. I don’t use a ton of hyped up words or words that are hard to understand. Keep your blogging simple and easy to understand to your readers and you will find success.
I can’t stress enough how important it is to not over complicate things when you create website business models. It’s not a hard task and I encourage you to learn all you can while going through the process of building a website. HERE is a great review of platform to learn on.
I also will suggest that you pursue a niche that you are genuinely interested in because if you aren’t it will show on your website. There are tons of great opportunities to promote products on your website with affiliate links in virtually any topic. Explore your passion and practice writing daily. If you do this I guarantee you will see your skills in writing improve as well as your ability to write content that attracts a targeted audience.
Finally, make your website something that others can gain knowledge from. Your readers are searching for something that will help them and not some mindless information that they can find anywhere. If you do this you will find your blogging experience much more rewarding.
