And The Scam For 2018 Goes To Wealthy Affiliate!

Biggest Scam Of 2018?847672f44784db314a58fb70d4edfa761541292166 cropped optimized - And The Scam For 2018 Goes To Wealthy Affiliate!

You may have heard of Wealthy Affiliate, the online platform where people try and make money as affiliate marketers. And you may have checked out the reviews for this platform. And what you may have read is many people think that it’s just a brainwashed website that instructs it’s members to write fake reviews on other online programs and calls them out as being frauds. You may have read that the way Wealthy Affiliate works is by getting people to sign up and in a few months they get discouraged and then just quit and the guys who run the thing don’t care because they got the membership fees for a few months. And you may have read that Wealthy Affiliate got sued in 2015. That’s true too. They were.

So, why do people bother to join the company if it’s such a rip-off? Because they get lured in by the idea of easy money with minimal effort that’s why. And when they don’t make money in a month or two they quit. Then they call it a scam.

Most people who join Wealthy Affiliate seem to give up at the six-month time frame. It seems to be just the way it is with the company. They sign up for the Premium membership, figure they will try it out for size and then in a few months, poof they are history. Down the road.

How do I know all this 411 on Wealthy Affiliate? Because I have been a member for 3 years now. And I have seen a ton of people come and go. I have figured it out why they do this too. They have no patience and don’t want to put in the hard work to see it through. And I’m going to try not to dig on the under 35 generation but it seems like many of them want what they want and want it now. They don’t want to get down in the trenches and work hard at succeeding. They just want a quick buck and out of moms house living the good life.

I’m here to tell you, that will never work no matter what you try in life. You can’t cut corners. You’ll end up broke and living like a bum. Or worse you’ll end up in prison. Because hard work is something that comes from within. It’s the drive that gets you up in the morning. The drive that gets you telling yourself that yes, you can and will succeed.

I’ve been down the road of hard knocks. I won’t bore you but I will tell you the truth. I’m 55 years old now. I have a son and a wife and this life has given me some tough lessons. Dad comitted suicide when I was 17 and I went and joined the Marine Corps. I did my time and got out and ended up homeless because my family was pretty much non-existent and I had trouble adapting to civilian life. I managed to get jobs though and an apartment and eventually after another three-year stint in the Navy reserves I started to settle down. By then I was working in a freezer all night stocking frozen food in 22 degrees. It sucked but I kept at it. Finally, I got divorced and went back home to San Diego and was pretty much burned out by my early thirties.

In 1998 I started working as an electrical apprentice and kept at it, completed four years and got my journeyman card. I worked commercial electrical work for 10 years.

Then I got hit with another nightmare. I caught menengitis and almost died. The girl in the next room did pass away and was only 24. My point is that through all the b.s. life threw at me I knew that the only way to succeed at anything was to not give up. And joining Wealthy Affiliate three years ago really changed my way of looking at my life and realizing that I could do anything I put my mind to. Why? Because I had been down some tough roads but always managed to bounce back.

My thinking is those who join the platform and quit haven’t had enough hard knocks in life. They are still living in a trance either dreaming of a future that will just show up and 30 years old living at their parent’s house. Or they are just plain lazy, depressed, jaded or all of the above. Of course, those who are disabled are excluded from this list. I have immense compassion for those who struggle with illnesses and disabilities. Because I suffer from one too. The post effects of menengitis.

Why Join Wealthy Affiliate And Is It The Scam Of 2018?

Listen. I don’t b.s. you here. I won’t tell you it’s a walk in the park and anyone can make it. They can’t. It’s like the Marine Corps. I was a scrawny 17-year-old when I went in. I weighed 135 pounds. I was yelled at by the drill instructors because my home was 2 miles from MCRD training in San Diego and they wanted me to quit. They said just jump the fence, you’ll be home in a half hour. I didn’t quit and went on to get an honorable discharge.

I look at Wealthy Affiliate and all those people who call it a scam the same way. They can’t hack it. They are negative and weak. They may even be living in momma’s basement. Who knows. But, in three years I have built a website I am proud of. I worked hard at in and now it’s making me money. Not a ton but it is making money. Anyone can do it but they have to take it seriously and work hard. And keep going when the going gets tough. Otherwise, I don’t suggest even bothering to join.

You came to this page for some reason. Maybe you were checking out Wealthy Affiliate and figured you would look to see if it’s a scam or the real deal. I don’t know. But for those who believe everything anyone says, I say you’re the one who is brainwashed. Check out Wealthy Affiliate for yourself. If you think you can make a decent website then go for it. I did. You can too. Or you can sit and home dreaming about that fairy tale life that doesn’t exist. Your choice.

Done For You Sales Funnel. Worth Every Penny?funnel 309721 340 - Done For You Sales Funnel. Make A Million Dollars Overnight!

By now if you’re consistently blogging on your website you have probably heard of the done for you sales funnel programs. But, do these type of programs really work and is it worth the money investing in? Based on my experience as a blogger I have to say these type of programs while sounding enticing are really nothing but a way to collect emails and those emails you collect will probably end up being either bots or people who aren’t interested in what you’re offering.

The done for you sales funnel I checked out basically works like this and it’s a pretty simple concept. You sign up for a one time fee of $97.00 which is payable by Paypal upfront. They set up a sales funnel type of system where you promote the same program you bought and you earn a commission on those who sign up under you. I know, it sounds pretty cliche and not too exciting. The bottom line is the dollar and you really aren’t learning anything about marketing or how to write quality blogs, it’s just a round and round system that you end up paying for and might not even get any commissions. Affiliate Marketing Scams And What To Watch Out For

Affiliate Marketing Scams? Are They Really Out There?

We all have seen the flashy websites promoting programs which pay out huge returns for little work as an affiliate marketer. But, are these programs really worth what they say they are? As a blogger looking to promote products do you think these people really care how good your content is? No, they are in it for the money and that’s it! Worse yet is these shady so called companies hide the hidden truth behind their programs. It’s a sad day when you can’t make an honest living as a marketer but even worse when there are companies looking to steal your money with false promises.

What You Should Be Watching Out For

Be Wary Of Affiliate Marketing Scams

So, what should you be looking for in affiliate marketing scams? There are a number of things and I’ll list them below. Just know that there are so many out there that it’s going to be hard to tell what is good and what is a complete rip off!

1 Always check reviews on an affiliate marketing program before you decide to join. These companies will push you with their tactics to make you sign up right now. They don’t want you to think it over and that’s where you will get burned. Much like telemarketers they use these tactics to gain control over the situation quickly. Always research the company in question first before doing anything!

2 Promises of big money fast. Affiliate marketing scams are rampant and many of these shady programs will promise you all kinds of bonuses and deals to get you to join. They will promote their cons with flashy websites, alluring content and tell you what you want to hear. The end result is you sign up, spend your money and get little to nothing in return.

3 Programs have no physical address. An email address is not a physical address so if you see something like the company name and an email address but no physical address, chances are its a hustle. Always look for a physical address and a phone number!

4 Program is too new to have any reviews yet. This is another red flag for me. I would never join a company that has no reviews simply because you never know what you are getting. Most reputable companies will have at least a few reviews so you can make an informed decision. No review….no signup!

5 Use common sense when joining any company. Affiliate marketing scams are probably one of the more common internet cons out there. While there are some reputable companies, it’s important to use your common sense. Below is an example of a potential affiliate marketing scam that I found in my email this morning.

Using this as an example you can see that there is no clear cut information in this website. It’s totally vague yet for some I can see how they may get sucked in to this. Would you? Think about it, this is the kind of emails I get frequently that are basically totally vague and I would never consider joining. As a blogger looking to earn money I don’t think this would fit the bill but it comes close. Affiliate scam websites often use this same format in their emails to get you to join. You see something like this, it’s best to steer clear. I’ve taken out the website address just so you don’t get taken and to protect the “company”. While it’s possible it could be legit, I highly doubt it.
