For you bloggers out there looking to find a program which works well for affiliates I like to research different ones that I think may have some potential. And to be honest even though most don’t offer what I would expect out of a quality affiliate program, some of them are gems in the rough.
Followadder works with Instagram and Utube and basically is an automated software that allows you to schedule posts to the social sites as well as help you gain followers and likes. The reason I liked this platform is because I know of many bloggers who seem to by pass Instagram and even Utube when promoting their sites. Either they don’t see the purpose of going the route of these social websites or they just feel it’s not really going to help them in their road to success. Thankfully, Followadder really makes promoting through Utube and Instagram pretty darn easy. Below is a screenshot of Followadder’s Homepage. Continue reading Is Followadder A Good Online Program?
Ok, most of us who blog probably wonder at times, why the heck am I doing this blogging thing? Why aren’t I seeing conversions on my site? Why do I feel like I’m wasting my time? If you’re asking yourself those questions, I would consider reevaluating your reasoning for blogging. Maybe you are wasting your time and maybe you shouldn’t be a blogger. Yea, I know it’s pretty in your face but think about it. What’s your motivation to blog for an income? Wouldn’t it be easier to just get a real job and build your reputation with a real company that actually pays every week with benefits? I mean blogging? Really? Isn’t that what kids do?
Wasting More Time?
If you’re wondering or thinking you’re just blogging into oblivion maybe you’re doing something wrong. I mean if you’re not seeing results, doing the same thing over and over again then you may as well be writing on a wall in a public bathroom on the beach. Yes, it’s easy to feel like maybe you are going mad writing blogs that just seem to be published into cyberspace with little chance anyone will ever bother looking at them. And that’s a reality. So, maybe you shouldn’t be a blogger. Go get a real job!
Ok, of course I’m kidding here. I just wanted to wake you up a bit and try and let you see that maybe you need to change things up a bit before you continue blogging. Let me ask a question. Are you blogging about a particular product or niche? Is that product something of value or is something anyone could get via the internet or at Walmart? Seriously. If you are offering nothing of value your blogs are going to be a complete waste of time. So, consider looking at your product and think of whether or not this is something people really want or not. Chances are if you aren’t getting any hits your product sucks. Yea, probably does.
How’s Your Writing?
On the other hand if you have a decent product take a look at your content. Does it flow and read easily or is it a sea of words that runs on like a waterfall of alphabet soup? If it does then your writing sucks and you have to work on that. Hopefully you can see where I’m going with this blog. If you’re asking yourself why you aren’t successful think about asking yourself if your writing and products are up to par.
Change It UP!
Now, if all of your ducks are in a row and you’re still not seeing the results you would want or think you should be getting, consider the platform you are using. Are you using the training provided on how to use keywords in your blog post? Are you using too many ads? Is your content at around 750 to 1500 words per post? Are you making the most of your plugins if you’re using Word Press? All of these could be factors as to why your blog isn’t getting results. So, think about that before you throw in the towel and start believing you shouldn’t be a blogger. Because if you’re doing all the right things then you should still be in the game.
Time IS Your Friend!
Lastly, how long have you been blogging? One month? One year? More? I would suggest you keep going for at least a year or two before giving up. If after that time you aren’t seeing results, have a professional marketer look at your blog and let you know where you are failing. It could just be something small and an easy fix. Whatever you do, don’t quit until you have given your blog time to mature and you have learned what you think is a good amount of info on blogging and marketing. Being a blogger for an income is something that takes time, patience and changing things up a bit to see results. And that is what blogging is all about, trial and error. You may find yourself burning out when writing blogs, especially at first. But, don’t let it all get you down. While there is no time line when working for yourself as a blogger, it’s important to at least be consistent with your blogging venture. The worst thing you can do is to just come to a dead stop when you don’t find instant success or your blog just isn’t coming together the way you thought it would. Don’t let this frustrate you. Talk to other bloggers and find out what they do to stop the blogging burnout!
What’s Your Long Term Blogging Goals?
Consider your long term goals as a blogger. You may want to access what it is you will be blogging about too before you dive into the unknown world of blogging. There are a ton of blogging tips for beginners but this is probably one of the more important ones. When you’re blogging you really want to focus on your long term goals. And if you don’t have one, that’s ok for now. But definitely think about creating that website and get it ranking within the search engines. While it may take some time to rank it will once it’s been around for a while. And you may surprise yourself. In fact this blog you are reading right now ranks pretty well on all the search engines and it’s taken less than a year.
Check Out Other Successful Blogs
This is another crucial element to success and another blogging tip for beginners that’s often overlooked. Have you checked out other blogs in your niche yet? You’ll probably be pleasantly surprised if you do. Or you may think “Wow, I may need to step it up a notch!” Well, give yourself a break as a beginner. Most beginning bloggers have a difficult time really getting their blog set up right at first. I do suggest using WordPress for your platform because it’s so easy to use and is really a good deal all the way around. You can sign up for a free Word Press account here. WordPress Free Sign Up While you’re using Word Press it’s important to get ideas fro other bloggers but definitely don’t copy any work! Your work should be all you and original and able to copy copyscape. And believe me when I say this. If you do copy content you will be found out and possibly have your content flagged and removed for copyright violations. It’s the way the algorithm works and you won’t get past that one.
